Recipe: Authentic Chili Con Carne

Ingredients
- 1 Pound Round Steak, cut in 1/2″ squares
- Flour, for dredging
- Vegetable Oil for sautéing
- 4 Cups Fresh Bottled Water
- 1 Large Can V8
- 1 Cube Beef Bouillon
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
- 1 Packet Chili Seasoning
- 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes in Puree, (15 ounces)
- Cheddar Cheese, shredded, for garnish
- Sour Cream, for garnish
- Frito Chips
Instructions
- Dredge the steak in the flour then brown in the oil.
- Add the V8 and water and simmer for half an hour.
- Add the beef bouillon cube, garlic salt, sea salt, oregano, chili seasoning and tomato.
- Simmer for another half hour, stirring often.
- Serve over the Fritos.
- Top with cheese and sour cream.
