Recipe: American Chili

Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Stewing Beef, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil
- 2 Cups Onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 (1 Pound) Can Tomatoes, diced
- 1 Beef Bouillon Cube
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1-1/2 Teaspoons Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano Leaves
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 2 (15 ounce) Cans Kidney Beans
Instructions
- Add cooking oil to the oven.
- Heat over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, tomatoes, beef bouillon, chili powder, salt, dried oregano, and ground cumin.
- Cover and simmer 1-1/2 hours.
- Add the kidney beans.
- Simmer for 20 additional minutes.
